女，1939年12月出生，1962年毕业于四川医学院口腔系，同年分配到湖北医学院口腔系口腔修复科从事医疗、教学、研究工作，历任医师、主治医师、副主任医师(副教授)、主任医师(教授)，口腔修复学教研室主任硕士研究生和博士研究生导师，获国务院有特殊贡献的专家。为中华口腔医学会口腔修复学专业委员会副主任委员、湖北省口腔医学会常务理事、湖北省医疗事故鉴定委员会专家、《口腔医学研究杂志》编委。系统掌握本专业及相关学科知识，具有很高的理论水平和临床操作能力。曾多次主持国家自然科学基金资助的课题和省基金资助的课题，多次获得湖北省科技进步二等奖和三等奖，四次参加卫生部规划教材《口腔修复学》的撰写十多次参与其它参考书的编写工作，全国口腔执业医师资格考试命题专家组专家。在国内外公开发行的专业杂志上发表论文数十篇，多次参加全国及国际性学术会议。指导数十名硕士和博士研究生的研究和临床工作，获得武汉市十佳医务工作者和武汉大学师德标兵称号。1990年起从事口腔种植学的基础研究和临床研究，曾3次获得国家自然科学基金的资助，均是关于种植体与骨及软组织界面的研究，并多次获得省部级科研资助。1994年主持课题"磁性固位体在全口义齿中的应用"、1997年主持课题"全口义齿固位-封闭磁场磁性固位系统的研制"及"粘结桥金属支架化学蚀刻的研究"三次获得湖北省人民政府科技进步二等奖。近年来发表论文近50篇，参加卫生部规划教材《口腔修复学》、卫生部全国执业医师考试指导及其他参考书十多部。
